The story begins

The world of Lysoria

Seventeen-year-old Aurelia Wynn is pulled into Lysoria, a realm of ancient magic, forgotten prophecies, and gathering darkness. With mage-in-training Calen, she must uncover the truth about her lost mother, her hidden powers, and a destiny she never asked for.

Aurelia has always felt out of place: strange dreams, a pull toward storms, and questions about the mother she lost. When the veil between worlds tears open, the answers lead somewhere she never imagined.

Wonder and darkness share the same horizon. Alongside Calen, a fiercely loyal mage-in-training, Aurelia must decide whom to trust in a world that seems to know more about her than she knows about herself.

Calen Dustmere

With wild dark curls, golden eyes, and clothes that seem collected from a dozen adventures, Calen rarely arrives quietly. The young mage-in-training meets the unfamiliar with humor, resourcefulness, and a talent for getting into—and out of—trouble.

Quiet presence. Watchful eyes.

Thorne

Tall and composed, Thorne carries an otherworldly stillness. An ash-blond braid, silver eyes, and a dark-green cloak mark his presence; his reserve and command of runes suggest someone who notices far more than he says.

A mortal in an unfamiliar world

Maeve

Maeve comes from the mortal world, with none of Lysoria’s strangeness to take for granted. Wary and far from what she knows, she brings a human perspective to a place where even the ordinary rules feel uncertain.
