Reader privacy

This program is operated by James E. Hamelton Jr. Email addresses are used to confirm reader requests, send sign-in codes, and communicate about the books you join. They are not displayed in group discussions.

Your reading bookmarks, book memberships, feedback, and download issue records are kept for operating the program. Private downloads carry a reader reference and copy ID, and a signed receipt records the exact file fingerprint. This supports traceability; it cannot prevent copying or prove who shared a file.

You can leave an individual book using its signed removal link. This removes that enrollment email and releases its place. Your sign-in account remains available for other books until account deletion. Previously issued copy records and discussion contributions may remain for integrity and moderation. Essential sign-in cookies are used. Private pages are marked noindex and no-store. Public previews contain only excerpts selected for public release.
